# How to Initiate a Warranty Request

## Need to initiate a warranty request for a part? We have made it easy to complete this process through Transend.

- Under your account number select "**Initiate Return**"

- Click inside the search box to get the drop-down menu
- Select "**Warranty**" under the **All Other Parts (e.g. Torque Converters, etc)**![warranty\_part](https://resources.transend.us/hs-fs/hubfs/warranty_part.png?width=584&height=242&name=warranty_part.png)

- Type in the "**Part Number**" and "**Quantity**" for each item you are initiating a claim for 
    - ***NOTE:** DO NOT hit the Enter key if you are entering more part numbers*

- Scroll down to the bottom of the page
- Input your return reason in the "**Notes**", this information required for the process to be completed in a timely manner
- Select the "**Submit Return**" button
